Hey there! I’m Elisa.

As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Health Coach, I blend science-backed strategies with centuries-old holistic practices to help busy women in their 40s transform their health and confidence, target the root of symptoms, and discover a joyful relationship with food.

I know what it’s like to chase every diet and detox. I spent years stuck in that frustrating cycle and what I really craved was freedom: freedom to enjoy food, feel vibrant, and live fully. Eventually, I found it. Then, I empowered myself with knowledge (including 625 hours of training from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and certification from the American Council on Exercise) and created the 14 Carrots Method. It breaks women out of a dieting mindset, laying the groundwork for smart nutrition and lifelong vitality.

This isn’t a diet. It’s a way of life.

Why 14 Carrots?

It’s not (just) about eating carrots, and it's definitely not about counting them.

Think of it like your favourite 14K gold bracelet: timeless, practical, and something that makes you feel like yourself. It’s about finding a personalized approach to nutrition that fits into your life and targets your specific health goals.

The 14 Carrots approach is built on 5 key pillars:

  1. Joy Matters. If you’re not enjoying yourself, it’s not the right fit.

  2. Start Small, Go Big. Starting with simple tweaks that fit your life—not the other way around.

  3. Personalized for You. A plan tailored to your unique needs and story ensures sustainability.

  4. Seasonal Living. Seasonal eating can boost health and help the body’s natural rhythms flow.

  5. Food Freedom. Through educational resources and mindset coaching, you’ll reconnect with your body and gain a positive new perspective on diet and nutrition.

Still not sure if this is for you? Or, maybe you’re ready? Either way, book a no-pressure strategy call with me. Together, we’ll chat about your unique path to wellness.

My Story

My journey began with big dreams in sports and medicine. I studied Kinesiology in Vancouver, aiming to become an orthopedic surgeon, but fashion found me instead. I moved to cities like London, New York, and Toronto, diving into the world of magazines—covering fashion weeks, producing photoshoots, and writing about trends. It was glamorous and fast-paced, and I loved the creativity.

But I spent those years consumed by work, surviving on Diet Coke and crash diets. I struggled with self-doubt, body shame, and fitting into an industry that didn’t align with who I was becoming.

Then, life took a turn. My mom passed away, and grief overwhelmed me. I moved home to reconnect with my roots, but nothing felt right. In the following years, I lost seven more close family members, which deepened my exhaustion. I bounced from job to job, constantly running from burnout.

I began questioning everything: “What am I missing? How can I take control of my health?” I experimented with my diet, fitness routines, and learned to cook with confidence. I got stronger and more energized, but still felt off. Despite all the testing, cleanses, and learning about macros and gut health, I was stuck in a cycle of restriction, obsessed with my weight, and constantly sick.

Then, I discovered meditation, which shifted everything. It wasn’t just about detoxes or workouts—it was about listening to my body. The pandemic allowed me to dive deeper into self-care, and just before my 40th birthday, I enrolled in a natural nutrition diploma program.

Three months in, it all clicked: truly understanding the interconnectedness of our body systems, how nutrition powers everything, and being empowered with the knowledge I craved. I had found the missing pieces—not just about food, but about wellness itself. Now, I enjoy the things I love—wine, donuts, and my morning coffee—but with a balanced way of eating that fuels my energy and supports my life. I’ve learned to handle life’s ups and downs with resilience, using food as a source of joy, not restriction.

Today I’m passionate about helping other women find clarity and freedom around food, especially at a time of our lives when our bodies can often feel at war with us. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan to help you feel vibrant and energized. Your journey won’t look like anyone else’s—it’s about finding what works for you, so you can live a life full of energy, fulfillment, and joy.
